Hunters Chicken Batch Cook Recipe

This recipe is prepared using frozen chicken.  It's very important to keep the chicken frozen by making sure the sauce is completely cooled before it's poured over the frozen chicken.  The dish can then be safely put back in the freezer for another day.  Please don't re-freeze thawed chicken.

The recipe could also be made with fresh chicken, in which case the temperate of the sauce wouldn't matter.

1 kg Diced Chicken Breast
Chopped Tomatoes
Tomato Puree
Balsamic Vinegar
Worcestershire Sauce
BBQ Seasoning

Add the Chopped Tomatoes, Tomato Puree, Balsamic Vinegar, Worcestershire Sauce and BBQ Seasoning to a large pan.

Bring it to the boil and then let it cool completely.

Blitz the sauce in a blender.

Grate the cheese (about 400g).

Place the frozen chicken in oven and freezer proof dishes.

Pour over the cooled sauce.

Then add a layer of bacon.

And top with the cheese.

Cover with foil and freeze.

Leave the foil on for cooking.  Oven cook for 45 minutes at 200 degrees centigrade.  Remove the foil about 15 minutes before the end of the cooking time to brown the cheese.
