Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe

Soft and chewy chocolate chip cookies, what could be better!

200g Butter
150g Sugar
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Flavouring
1 Egg
300g Plain Flour
1/2 Teaspoon Baking Powder
200g Chocolate

Pop the butter in the microwave for 30 seconds.

To melt it.

Add the sugar and mix.

Add the vanilla flavouring and an egg.

Chop the chocolate using a sharp knife.

Add to the mixture and mix.

To form a smooth dough adding more flour if necessary.

Use an ice cream scoop to measure evenly sized balls of dough.  

Shape and flatten them in your hands and lay them on a baking sheet.

Cook for 10 minutes at 180 degrees centigrade.
