Slow Cooker Chicken Tikka Masala Recipe

One of my all time favourite recipes.  

Chicken £3.33
Natural Yogurt 45p
Double Cream 89p
Ground Almonds £1.39
Ground Coriander 79p / 2 = 40p
Cumin 79p / 2 = 40p
Paprika 79p / 2 = 40p
Curry Powder 79p
Onions 57p
Peppers £1.30
Garlic 59p / 4 = 15p
Chillis 52p
Ginger 48p
Tomato Puree 34p

Total: £11.41 / 15 portions = 76p per portion

Finely chop the ginger.

And the garlic.

And the chillies.

Place in a bowl and add the yogurt.

Add the spices.

And mix.

Add to the raw chicken and leave to marinade.

Chop the onions.

And the peppers.

Fry until soft.

Fry the chicken.

And the peppers.

Add to a large pan.  Add the tomato puree.

And the ground almonds.

Leave to simmer until the chicken is cooked through.

Add the cream and stir.
